My wife and I were talking about some different art projects we could do, and I thought she came up with a cool one. Her idea was to take an existing piece of art and add to it. It could be something horrible that your making better or maybe you can even make it worse. It could be something you like and you're just making it a little better in your own way. The main point is to try and make it you're own. I found this print when we were out and about doing one of our thrift store tours. I loved it, but I thought I could do my own little spin on it. This thing about killed me. I don't have a lot of time to paint, so this painting took me about 5 months. I can only hope that I learned something from this experience that will help me in the future. It's done in acrylic and is 20x30 inches. I'm going to get some professional shots done so I can make a really nice print. If you're interested in picking one up, keep a look out, I'll post it once I have them done. I took a couple pictures along the way to show my progress. Check 'em out!
