I finished this dragon sleeve about as fast as I could. The guy who got it just finished his service in the military and wanted to get this done before he moved back home. We worked on it every two weeks for a little over two months. He is pretty big, so I was happy with how long it took. And let's face it, everyone loves a dragon tattoo. That's what I got for my first one on my eighteenth birthday. It wasn't quite this big. I only had $80.
I did this guy down at TATTOOLAPALOOZA in Miami. I think maybe he's choking to death trying to get that octopus down his throat. Who knows, maybe he'll live. I guess I'll have to see the next time I get down to Miami.
This is one of my favorite recent tattoos I've done. I love doing bigger stuff, but sometimes those one shot bangers are the best. I usually don't get to do things I can finish in a day. This little guy is on the talented tattooist Levi Hilton. He's a great guy. If you haven't checked him out you definitely should.
I know this idea has been done, but I did my best to present this in my own way. I never thought I was gonna get a chance to finish this. We started it in Florida a couple years ago and lost touch. Luckily we reconnected because I had a great time finishing it and I think it turned out pretty cool.
Hey! check it out! Another hermit crab painting. I was looking to do another hermit crab painting & fate shined on me. I'm doing Tattoolapalooza in Miami this coming June & I was informed they needed artwork for the skate deck trophies. I sent of a sketch and it was approved. One sleepless week later, this is what I came up with. Hope you love it. I had a great time painting it.
I finished this confused little fellow about a month ago and am just now getting around to posting it. It's my first solo oil painting (I did a collaborative oil painting with Michael Banks 2 years ago), so I'm really happy with how it went. Right now I'm getting art together for a big project "Carkayous". My part will be called "Roklej". I'll have to explain later since it's in the early stages, but I'm creating characters to live on my land and in my sea. I'm not sure if this will be a main character, but there will definitely be plenty of Skullcrabs.
I recently got an article in the UK's "Skin Deep" magazine. Click on the image below to see it, it came out great. Go check it out at your local bookstore or you can order one online at SKINDEEP.CO.UK . Thanks Skin Deep
